Local Management buys Blue Star Print Group
Blue Star Print Group is now in local ownership following the completion of a management buyout led by its New Zealand and Australian executive team.
The transaction, announced today, will see management take over the Print Group’s 15 operating businesses throughout Australasia, which employ a total of 1,100 staff.
The print group has revenues of more than $270 million a year and a track record of consistent growth and profitability.
Chief executive Keith Brodie said the company, which will continue to be known as Blue Star Print Group and remain based in Auckland, was pleased to have completed the purchase.
"We’re delighted to have finalised the deal and are continuing to progress our plans to expand the business, particularly in Australia," he said.
