Wild South Wine Label

WINE LABELS
Client - Sacred Hill Wines
Label - Wild South Wine Label

Rapid Labels and Sacred Hill Wines operate a significant supply partnership for the majority of labels within the Sacred Hill range. When Sacred Hill decided to re-brand their Cairnbrae label, Rapid was involved with the Design Agency from the outset.

The outcome has been an elegant bold result, which cleverly uses all of Rapid Labels new wine label technology. The Wild South label incorporates a special red, 2 blacks, a spot matt varnish, a spot gloss varnish, rotary screen printed high-build varnish, embossing and diecutting.

Rapid's Gallus EM280 press fleet is capable of this and more - Wild South could have added another colour and foil if the design had called for it.

Horleys Sculpt Health Supplement Tub Label

PRODUCT LABELS
Client - Sutton Group for Naturalac Nutrition
Label - Horleys Sculpt Health Supplement Tub Label

Horleys products go to market with a multitude of sports supplements in several flavours. Most are powders sold in 4 tub sizes. In 2004 Rapid Labels, Horleys and Sutton Group (who blend and fill for Horleys) worked together to move the tub labels from gum to self-adhesive.

The outcome is a combination of good design and manufacturing smarts, which produce large format labels to an exacting quality standard. The labels are printed on both metallic and paper stocks, using up to 6 colours and varnishes, with curved dies to compensate for the application of such a large label.

Sutton Group enjoy the benefits of Rapid having two mirror Gallus presses which mean we can be a just-in-time supplier for top ups, as well as a low-cost supplier for the major production runs.

Warehouse Labeling Solution including overprinting

VARIABLE DATA LABELS
Client - The Supply Chain, Progressive Enterprises
Label - Warehouse Labeling Solution including overprinting

The Supply Chain is the internal fulfillment company for Progressive Enterprises supermarkets - Foodtown, Woolworths & Countdown. When planning started for a new warehouse operating system, the Supply Chain called in their label supplier Rapid to provide a bin location labeling solution.

The outcome is a large bold bin location label, which was manufactured as blanks, and then thermally overprinted with variable data at Rapid's overprinting bureau. The solution also included temporary over-labels so that the incumbent bin locations could continue, allowing for a hard start on go-live day.

The labels themselves may not be award winners, but the clever solution coupled with fast response from Rapid makes it a good example of client and supplier working together.
